DF - HyperVisor Code Integrity Readiness Test FAILS in HLK 10 RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi,

I am trying to get my driver WHQL signed but unfortunately I cannot get the "DF - HyperVisor Code Integrity Readiness Test" to pass on HLK setup, which is a Control Machine (Windows Server 2012 R2 (6.3.9600 Build 9600) with HLK Win 10 (10.1.10586.0)) and Test Machine (Windows 10 Build 10240). The test cause the Test Machine to crash (bluescreen) at setup with an error: DRIVER_VERIFIER_DETECTED_VIOLATION.

    Any helps is greatly appreciated.

    Kind Ragards,

    Amarjit

  • Hi, Amarjit.

I feel like resembling the following phenomena.

    https://social.msdn.microsoft.com/Forums/windowshardware/en-US/a70e6953-e5a5-44df-88c8-212f1e577caf/hlk-failed-about-driververifierdetectedviolationwdf010000sys-issue?forum=whck

I want Microsoft to revise HLK if it occurs so much...

    Best regards.

  • We used Windbg and determined that our driver was allocating the wrong type of memory (NonPagedPool instead of NonPagedPoolNx). The "DF - HyperVisor Code Integrity Readiness Test" now pass.

  • Hi, Amrjit.

I used NonPagedPool when this driver confirmed it.
I came to do Pass in "DF - HyperVisor Code Integrity Readiness Test" when I used NonPagedPoolNx.

    Precious information, thank you.
