Bing Maps crash in my Windows Store App RRS feed

  • When Navigated To the bing maps page, the app would exit.

    Please help me fix it.

  • If you can save a dump at the point of the crash I can assist. Turn on stopping on first chance C++ exceptions in Debug|Exceptions. Turn on Native debugging from project properties. Run it to the point of the crash and use Debug|Save Dump As.

  • Does it do this on the development machine or when remote debugging/sideloading? What's in the debug output?

  • In development machine.

    Debug output :

    The program '[6272] Esperanto.exe: Managed (v4.0.30319)' has exited with code -2147483645 (0x80000003)

    There was an exception when loading the design time assembly 'C:\Users\xuesong\AppData\Local\Microsoft\VisualStudio\11.0\Designer\ShadowCache\emcs5cvn.tnf\sxxouht5.o3u\bin_2\Bing.Maps.Design.dll':
    Exception has been thrown by the target of an invocation.

  • When I updated the bing maps control , the error occur.

    The new installed bing maps SDk   Bing Maps SDK for Windows Store apps   .

    And my location is China, where the bing maps doesn't support.

    So I set the home region in US. In the older SDK , the app is OK.

    But now it always exit when enter into bing maps page.

    Please help me.

  • It's the app code in my skydrive.

  • try to remote Bing maps from C3, C++.... from references of the project and add again

  • I do delete and add the ref, but the app crashes still occur.

    Does my code's crash occur in your develop PC?
