    In just need a chessboard back grund that will not change

    .imgtype {
        margin-top: 200px;
        margin-left: 116px;
        background-repeat: round;
        background-image: url("/sets/jpc/brdimg35.jpg");

    brdimg35 consists of four squares to a chessboard. It is displayed so it is a full chess board.
    On top of that I display all the pieces as a gif image.

    The only problem is that the background keeps adjusting it sizes. I wish it would be a constant background image.
    you take out all pieces on a row, and it will regenerate

  • It sounds like you should just use a static image instead of a background that tiles.

    NOTE: If I ask for code, please provide something that I can drop directly into a project and run (including XAML), or an actual application project. I'm trying to help a lot of people, so I don't have time to figure out weird snippets with undefined objects and unknown namespaces.
