Run azure logic app from a script/application after it is deployed RRS feed

  • Question

  • I would like to run my azure logic app right after I have deployed it from my script/application. Do you have any guidance how to do that?

  • Hi AngelDim What kind of trigger does your LA use?

  • We don't limitation on the type of triggers we can use and for example we currently use "recurrence": { "type": "Schedule", … } triggers. \

Is there a way I can call an API on the Azure LA service from my script/c# application to run my deployed LA?

What am looking is instead to manually to need to click RUN on the LA after it is deployed, to be able to automate deployment and immediately running of the application after it is deployed.

  • The answer would really depend upon your trigger.

    Consider two scenarios:

    1) Your logic app has a recurrence or a polling trigger, in such cases the logic app WILL run when you click on the run button in the portal.

    2) You have a web hook or http request trigger, even if you click on RUn, it will not achieve its intended purpose because it is still goin to need an http request
