Developing static ASPX page in Visual Basics 2008 express RRS feed

  • Question

  •

I just downloaded Visual Basics 2008 express edition for the first time and about to venture into .net.

I know it’s a powerful tool for dynamic development however I still need to build static design work with in my project.

Can I develop static ASPX page in Visual Basics 2008 express edition or should I be using another program? If the answer to my question is yes, can anyone send me a link to a tutorial?

  • First off, ASPX by definition is not static, it's dynamic.  Do you mean static HTML?

Second off, if you're looking to do web development and stick with the Express family of productions, take a look at Visual Web Developer 2008 Express.
