How to get the current delegate user RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi,

Here's the situation: pwa -> user A is acting on user B (delegate).

if I use SPContext.Current.Web.CurrentUser.LoginName, I still get user A login name. How can I know (using code) that user A is using another user credential (user B) and how do I do to get user B login name or account ?

I hope I explain the situation clear enough

    Thank you for helping

  • Thanks for the answer, it's good to know that you can actually capture those events. But the solution may be very complicate. I dig a little further and actually found out that I could simply use the resource client method GetCurrentUserUid(). A simple call GetCurrentUserUid() will provide the current user Guid and then readresources(guid) from there.

So SPContext.Current.Web.CurrentUser.LoginName give you the actual sharepoint login name and GetCurrentUserUid() gives you the current project server user Guid. Compare those 2 values and you will know if a delegate session is on.
