  • is it possible to see on the subform on whicht tab you are in the parent form ?

    Hi tekoko,

On the main form I use a hidden control, that is filled with the name of the subform control, in the Enter event of the subform control.

You then always know which subform is the "active" subform on the parent form.

  • i want to know on the subform what the active tab is

the same subform is used twice but depending on the tab i want some different things in the subform

    Hi tekoko,

In my applications all the subforms are the same.

In the subform you can read the name of the entered subform control with : Me.Parent!active_subcontrolname.

Added: provided that you saved the name there in the Enter event of the subform control.

  • if you use the same form more times,

how is it possible to browse  from another random form to the right tab ?

    Hi tekoko,

I don't use tabs, so I'm not too familiar with that.

But in my applications I set the focus on a different subform control to make that the active subform. I suppose you can do the same with the tabs.
