Problem in installing Certificate for the HealthAndFitness sample application RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi,

I am new to Microsoft Healthvault project. I am trying to run HealthAndFitness sample application on my machine running Windows XP Professional . For this first I need to install Certificate on my local machine. I tried to install the Certificate by running the batch file 'GrantCertificateRightsXP' available  in the project cert folder, but I could not get success.

The batch file contents are :

    ECHO OFF
    SET WC_CERTNAME=WildcatApp-bafb1313-d4e0-421c-b3b5-4e3a55639c19
    cls
    ECHO GRANT ASP.NET ACCOUNT ACCESS
    ..\..\..\..\tools\winhttpcertcfg.exe -g -a %COMPUTERNAME%\ASPNET -c LOCAL_MACHINE\My -s %WC_CERTNAME%
    ECHO ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^

    ECHO GRANT IIS ACCOUNT ACCESS
    ..\..\..\..\tools\winhttpcertcfg.exe -g -a %COMPUTERNAME%\IUSR_%COMPUTERNAME% -c LOCAL_MACHINE\My -s %WC_CERTNAME%
    ECHO ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
    ECHO '
    SET WC_CERTNAME=""
    ECHO ON

After running the batch file, I get the following error message. Can any body help me how to sort this problem.

    GRANT ASP.NET ACCOUNT ACCESS

    Copyright (C) Microsoft Corporation 2001.

Error:  Unable to find or obtain a context for requested certificate

Running the grant batch file is the second part of the process - you first need to install the certificate on the machine. The readme directions should have enough details for that - let me know if you have questions.

    Check the path of: "..\..\..\..\tools\winhttpcertcfg.exe"
