Writing a WEB API to access an existing ASP.NET Identity model RRS feed

We have a Lightswitch application with ASP.Net identity model located on MS AZURE.

I am now writing a mobile application to access the data and I want to build a small WEB API app to expose some of the data in the azure database.  The users will log in with standard individual user accounts (which are already set up from Lightswitch).

All of the WEB API examples I have found use codeFirst and build the identity model.  Is it possible to simply hook into an existing identify model?

Any direction on this front most appreciated.

ps: I have tried using the odata endpoint directly, but can't seem to log into it all using Fidler - if there is any support on this front - I would also be much obliged as it saves making the web API in the first place
