    Hi, thanks for your help,

I saw that, but my backend data is saved in SQL server database, and so far, I can not find any resource of accessing SQL server table data from Blackberry handheld application,

Thus, I am looking for a way to develop the mobile apps in VS2012 Professional MVC, since SQL server database can easy work as backend database in MVC mobile apps.

But, after the apps developend in MVC mobile, I can not find a way to test it in Blackberry simulator and finally to package the application and push it to blackberry handheld,

Please let me know if you have either way the issue can be resolved.

    Thanks

    Hi,

You may have to develop web application which works in mobile browsers!

    http://roopeshreddy.wordpress.com/2012/12/29/mobile-web-applications-with-asp-net-webforms/

Moreover, you can download the Ripple simulator or BlackBerry simulator to test your apps - http://developer.blackberry.com/html5/download/#blackberry10 - you can scroll down to see the download link!

    Hope it helps u...

Hi, thanks a lot for your help,

I think the VS2012 professional does not use web form to create Mobile apps, instead, there is MVC mobile template for use, that is why I use that one to create my Mobile apps.

I say your second link which is Ripple simulator used by Blackberry, if I understand correctly, this method is used for those 6 Platform Choices of create Mobile apps for blackberry, (such as C/C++ Native SDK, HTML 5 Web Works, ActionScript Adobe AIR,  Java Android Runtime, Java Blackberry Java, and Themes Theme Studio),

Since my apps needs to connect to SQL server database, that is why I choose asp.net MVC Mobile template, I think it is easier to buiild.

Now, my problem is how to deploy the asp.net mvc mobile apps to blackberry handheld, please let me know if you found any good resources. thanks again

    Hi,

First of all apologies for the late reply!!!

ASP.NET MVC web application resided in the IIS Server. So, it serves HTML as response to the request. So it will seamlessly in the BlackBerry browser!

Moreover, are you planning to develop web application or BlackBerry App?

    Hi,

What exactly do you mean by

how to integrated the VS2012 MVC mobile apps to blackberry server

If you wish to host the ASP.NET MVC apps in BlackBerry, then it's not possible! You can try creating Hybrid apps, using PhoneGap - http://phonegap.com/

    Hope it helps u...
