Pulling text from a word file to powerpoint RRS feed

  • I'm trying to create a macro which is able to search a folder location for a keyword e.g 'bike' in C:/TestFolder, comb through the contents of the the word documents in there and then return the entire paragraph text which the keyword is in as a text box into the current powerpoint slide.

    However if that's not possible: if I have a word file called 'Test1', I'd like to be able to search for that file name, pull all the text from it, and insert it into a text box on the current powerpoint slide.

    Fairly new to VBA so I'm not particularly sure where to begin with this task. If anyone's got any sample code to get me started or guidelines it'd be much appreciated.
