  • Question

  • We have a table with 1 ROW and 1 COLUMN, typically just a cell.

Inside this cell, we have paragraph of content - just plain text. Depending on the Cell Width number of lines within the paragraph changes.

With the .XML file, Is there a way to get the number of lines within a given paragraph having cell width and other information?

Not reliably, no. Word calculates line breaks on-the-fly, dependent on the printer driver and other factors of the machine opening the document. Knowing the font typeface, size, character spacing, whether hyphenation is turned on, cell width, cell padding, etc. you could probably get a rough estimation. (I believe there are forums where this is discussed, although not in connection with Word, specifically.) But when the document is actually opened and printed the result could be different.
