Save as xml spreadsheet RRS feed

  • Hello,

    I have an full excel file
    Some of the cells are empty
    When i save the excel as xml spreadsheet i get an xml
    After reviewing the xml i saw that the cells that were empty do not appear
    The problem is that i use an xsl to create to take the first raw value + the current cell value
    Because the cell is missing in the xml i get a false output
    example :
    my excel is first raw values are 1,2,3
    second raw values are a1,,a3

    When saving the excel as xml and using the xsl i will get :
    1=a1
    2=a3
    3=[no value]

    and what i need is :
    1=a1
    2=[no value]
    3=a3

  • Hi IB,

    What do you mean by "reviewing the xml"? My understanding of your problems is you save your original xls file as xlsx file, then the blank cell is lost, is that right? Are you doing this conversion through Office app? or programtically? Thanks.
