    Thanks,

Cancel it and go to log files and see if any log is produced for THIS installation. Log files would be located at. Did you failed couple of time previously while installing SQL Server ?

    %program files%\Microsoft SQL Server\110\Setup Bootstrap\Log.

    Cheers,

Browse the location I have posted in my previous reply and tell me what u see. You would see many files. Or can you upload those files on google drive. Just search how to upload on google drive and you can easily do it

  • Just look at the dates you should pick the folders to upload the data for which corresponds to the date of your running/installing 2nd instance. You also have old logs for previous installation. I guess files on 2017 would be of interest

    Many Thanks,

I could not find any specific error all I can see is you are trying to install SQL Server 2012 enterprise on windows 7 this is unsupported scenario and you might fail. I can understand you succeeded previously but there is no guarantee.

What is point in wasting such expensive license on client OS which has many limitations.

I can see long path message in logs so can you create a new directory on F drive, move the installation files their and right click on setup and select run as adminsitrator

    Cheers,
