    Sir ,

     i am a student nd persuing be from gyan gyan college jabalpur , i have develope a app for college which is college management system . the main working of app is to show the attendence only and my problem is 

    :  i am having whole database of college 

    and waana to use this database in my app 

    don't know how to retrive with vs13 

    please help

    from a windows store app you cant make a direct connection to a sql database, at least there isnt something out of the box for it. easiest way is to put the database on a server and expose the data with rest services and then in the windows store app consume the rest services
