alarm on background with winjs RRS feed

  • one timer that I program with Winjs and html but I have a problem when I launch my app and switch for another, the timer is suspended and stop after 10 seconds and basically I want it kept running in the background, because the shoulds launch a notification at the end of counting can you help me

    When the app is about to suspend, all the function will goes into suspend state, you could set something on oncheckpoint() event.

    If you want to have a background task in WinJS, take a look at this documentation: Quickstart: Create and register a background task.  And for notification you could ref: Quickstart: Sending a toast notification
