  • Hi,

Install the source code solutions. Open the Agent Desktop Solution, try running it. See if it is working.

I believe there is some uncaught exception. In all probability your agent desktop is failing to call the CCF WCF services due to authorization issue. Check that!!!! Hope it helps.

  • thanks for the reply,

    I did the following,

    1. Installed the solutions and opened it in Vissual Studio 2008

    2. Complied and ran the code file

    I get error 'system.typeinitializationexception' for agentdesktop.exe.

Do you have any pointers on how to resolve this.

    Also I have naother problem

windows service 'CCF 2008 Multichannel Adapter Manager Service' is not starting.

usual time out error'1053' is coming for users.

please suggest me how to work that out..

  • I guess the error is because of the WCF services.

Kindly check wether u can access the WCF services.

For ex : http://localhost/Microsoft.Ccf.Csr.WebServices.AdminConsole/AgentWS.svc ..... if u get any error (for ex "u are not authorized" etc) then it is a problem with the WCF service.

Regarding the windows service 'CCF 2008 Multichannel Adapter Manager Service', u can start AgentDesktop.exe without starting it. It is required for channel integration.

  • Thanks Debangshu,

yes i do have problems as you pointed out with WCF services. error mentioned is also same.

    i tried doing following:

    1. Reinstalled web service( step 2 ) in the installation process

This give me error called ' Error assigning permissions to user'

I checked the relevant web.config file associated with teh web service, but in the authetication part i see right user associated there.

i am sure the problem lies with the user authetication.

how can you validate which user to use at the time of installation adn the password? at the time of user creation

like ASPUSER, CCFUSER, Demouser1 etc i have used only one password to avoide confusion and domain also seem sto be correct.

can you give me some pointers.

    thanks again
