Issue in Importing Sharepoint List Data feed in to PowerPivot RRS feed

  • Question

  • HI All,

I installed and activated PowerPivot integration features on my site collection which shows "Export as Data Feed" button on the ribbon in sharepoint list. When i try to open the exported .atomsvc file on the excel which has PowerPivot add-in enabled, tested the connection which works perfectly fine. Proceeding further shows an error message:

"For security reasons DTD is prohibited in this XML document. To enable DTD processing set the ProhibitDtd property on XmlReaderSettings to false and pass the settings into XmlReader.Create method."

I googled the error and made sure the hotfix (Windows6.1-KB976127-v6-x64) suggested in one of the blog needs to be installed and inspite of installing the fix i still see the error message getting displayed when i try to import the data feed. When i see the event viewer on the Web-FrontEnd server, I see the below error message.

WebHost failed to process a request.

Request you to suggest me a concrete solution for the issue.
