WCF-WebHttp BizTalk 2013 - how to catch HTTP 400 response RRS feed

  • Question

  • I have created an Orchestration i BizTalk 2013 which is consuming a REST web service (Salesforce). How can I catch i.e. HTTP 400 response from the Orchestration? I hva tried to catch System.Net.WebException, but it doesn't work. The orchestration is suspended.

I want to catch this error and do some logging if it occurs.

Does anyone knows how to catch this kind of exception in the orchestration?

  • Hi,

we have a similar situation here. We are offering a SOAP service which in the background orchestrates calls to REST services and then returns a SOAP message to the original caller.

But when the REST service throws an HTTP error code like e.g. "400 Bad Request" our service times out. We do not know how to handle such errors. There seems to be no standard behavior via WCF-WebHttp Adapter, or am I wrong?

Would be very glad if someone could help us here!

    Kind regards,

    Chris
