    Please Help me.

    If I connect to the database on the server computer, via internet connection,
    Sometimes this error message appears.

    Why. Can this error, be avoided?

    The exception object contains more information such as an error number that may assist in identifying the cause.   See:

  • Can be everything.


    It can be the connectionstring, it can be a non existing table, it can be no connection and so on.  

    That command is the first thing done in the code you show, the rest is most syntactical sugar which can be done with one statement.

    Be aware that with a dataadapter even an open can be forgotten, it is included in the adapter and if you let the open and close done by the adapter, there is no need to test if it is open or not.

  • You showed the exception box, but what you really needed to show is what is in View Details that gives the detailed information about the exception.
