    Question

  • my app uses the local drive to store files( pdfs, word). i use sql azure for data storage. how can i use azure storage on a local machine

    File storage offers shared storage for applications using the standard SMB 2.1 or SMB 3.0 protocol. Applications running in Azure virtual machines or cloud services or from on-premises clients can mount a file share in the cloud, just as a desktop application mounts a typical SMB share.
