can not open form in office InfoPath desktop app but in browser? RRS feed

  • Question

  • I have a full trust form with browser-enabled. I can open it in browser but could not in MS Office InfoPath.

    I go this error:

The form template is trying to access files and settings on your computer. InfoPath cannot grant access to these files and settings because the form tempalte is not fully trusted. For a form to run with full trust, it must be installed or digitally signed with a certificate.

When I designed it, I did set it to be full trust. When I open it in browser, no security warning popup window comes out.

    Any clues?

    Thanks,

    Guangming

  • I did not. I found if you publish it as an msi and install it locally, you can open the form from sp doc lib into MS office InfoPath - security concern here makes things too complicated!?

  • Did you sign it with a certificate?
