SmallBasic on the Raspberry Pi? RRS feed

  • Question

  • I know that there is a version of Windows 10 that has been built with the Raspberry PI 2 in mind (IoT).

Has anyone on the forum actually done this yet? And have you tried to set up the Dot.net framework that SmallBasic would require to run?

I think SmallBasic and the Makers community, especially the Raspberry PI are made for each other.

If this actually works, I would happily ditch the desktop computers in our computer lab in favor of Raspberry PI computers that the students could keep.  :-)

  • Hi Coding Cat

You might want to ask this on the Small Basic facebook page as well.

I've seen some diverse stuff posted there.

  • Probably not, without full .Net with desktop version of MS OS.

  • This would be great! I'm eager to hear the resolution!

It is written: "'As surely as I live,' says the Lord, 'every knee will bow before me; every tongue will acknowledge God.'" Romans 14:11
