Web Form using a WCF service error 2746, helloworld function returns ok, return datatable throws error RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi, I have a WCF service application hosted on IIS and a separate web application referencing it. I'm using .Net 4.0, Visual studio 2012 express

    I am able to call a hello world function from the service, however I am getting an error for the function that returns a datatable.

    I also created a web form on the WCF service app to test the function, and it is able to retrieve the data table returned form the app itself.

    I also added the following config in my WCF Service app, but still no luck.

        <bindings>
          <basicHttpBinding>
            <binding name="BasicHttpBinding_IPatientResultsService" maxBufferSize="1000000000" maxBufferPoolSize="1000000000" maxReceivedMessageSize="1000000000">

              <security mode="TransportWithMessageCredential">
                <transport clientCredentialType="None" />
              </security>
              <readerQuotas maxDepth="2147483647" maxStringContentLength="2147483647" maxArrayLength="2147483647" maxBytesPerRead="2147483647" maxNameTableCharCount="2147483647" />

            </binding>
          </basicHttpBinding>
        </bindings>

    Below is the svclog. Please advise.
