FTP Adapter write 0 bytes in Send RRS feed

  • Question

  • I am using BizTalk 2010, I found in a simple Receive-Send application, the send port uses FTP adapter to send the file received from receive port. But it creates the file but with 0 bytes size. If I use FileZilla or deploy the application to the server, it's completely fine.

My local machine is Windows 7 and the server is Windows Server 2008 R2, FTP server is Unix based.

    Any idea?

  • 99% of the time, it's some issue with the data channels.  The FTP Adapter is not creating a 0 byte file, rather, the FTP server is preparing to receive the file but the data connection cannot be established.

There should be something in the event log about this.
