[UWP]F# in Windows 10 Apps RRS feed

  • Question

  • I was playing with F# and Type Providers as it seemed very suited for accessing data sources like JSON. I managed to get it working and was very excited to have it working so well... until I tried creating a Release build.

As I waited for a build, it sat there for 30 minutes or so until the compiler depleted all 12 GB of RAM on my system and threw an OutOfMemoryException. I'm assuming this is because the native .net compiler doesn't support F#? Or Type Providers? Either way, it'd be nice to have this sorted out... Also, are non-native compiled Win10 apps supported in the store?
