Permission to get users and read calendar's from all users. RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi,

I have currently made a connection with my web app (registered in Azure AD as multi-tenant) to Office 365 to get the calendar items for a specific person.  This works fine.  This works through the https://outlook.office.com/api/v2.0/me/calendarview endpoint)

Ideally I would like the following flow but I'm not sure if that's possible:

    - A company admin creates an account on my site and authorizes my app with Office 365

    - My application gets all users from Office 365, links the users and then synchronizes their calendars.

Is this possible?  Or will every individual user need to give permission to the app to be able to read the calendar?

I saw that with MS Graph API I should be able to get AD users, but ideally I would get them from the https://outlook.office.com endpoint, otherwise I need to ask permission to get AD users and after that get permission to get the calendars.  Graph API also seems to use a different endpoint than the outlook.office.com/api, will this mean I need to keep 2 tokens?)

    Thanks in advance,

    Stijn.
