How to use Search object / AdvancedSearch Object RRS feed

  • Hello,

    could any one share some ideas of whether the search objetc or advancedsearch object of outlook application can be used to search the contacts in global address list ?

    If yes could you please share some ideas of how it can be achieved?

  • Entries in the GAL are not contacts. You cannot use any of the Outlook search methods to search a GAL as if it was a Contacts folder. GAL entries exist on the server not in an Outlook folder.
