Using Debug to run only one project instead of all in a solution? RRS feed

In the solution I am working on there are about 40 projects in the solution. when i F5 the project it runs servers for the whole lot.

Is there a way of only allowing the project I want to only debug and run one server.?

Meaning it takes ages for ie to open and has loads of servers open running all the projects on my task bar....

    very annoying.

You can specify only the specific Projects that you want to open within a solution by using the Set Startup Projects option :

    1. Right-click on your Solution within the Solution Explorer
    2. Select the Set Startup Projects option
    3. Select the Projects that you want to run under the Multiple Startup Projects area or select a single project from the Single Startup Project sections
    4. Click Apply to apply your changes

Now when you run your application through F5, it will only run the specific Projects that you specified.
