Pass argument to template RRS feed

  • 1)  hello all, is there a way to send command line arguments to vsto template that i created, like we send in a normal windows application??

    usage for
    I have a vsto 2005 word template that loads another doc file text into it so i could use the action pane on the document template. i want to open that template from command line and send as argument the doc file name from which i want the template to load all data.

    Is there a way to do so???

    2) is there anywhere a tutorial for outlook addins that explains how to get the mail message in the preview pane?

    I'm sorry you had trouble with your template solution. Actually, there are a number of command line switches for starting Word. For example, you can run a specific macro at startup with the /m switch.
