  • Hi Narendramacha,

The main reason is RichEditBox cannot recognize OneNote format, as you copy from Word or Excel even Outlook, the paste operation works fine. Currently I don't think we can directly copy from OneNote Desktop.

  • Hi,

I cannot reproduce the problem. Which of content you want to paste to RichEditBox? As far as I know, RichEditBox can support rich text like formatted text, hyperlinks, and images.

  • Hi Anne Jing,

Open OneNote desktop application(I am using Office 2013) having some text in it and then try to copy that into RichEditBox.

I hope this time you will be able to reproduce the issue.

    Thank you.

  • Hi,

Sorry for my first response. I can reproduce that.  I think the problem occurs because of OneNote not compatible with the RichEditBox. I create a rft string and then set it as the RichEditBox content, the string can display. If the RichEditbox can support format like rft or html, I think the issue has nothing to do with it. That's a Compatibility issue.
