  • I came from there, the only one I found there was comparing project 2010 vs older versions, but not 2010 PRO vs 2010 STD.

    A more specific link will be very helpful.

    Forgive me for bumping into this string of posts, but you might want to refer to the following:
    You will find a document there that you can download, which will explain the differences.  To know what features are only available in the Professional version of Microsoft Project 2010, look for the text “PRO” to the right of the feature name.  Essentially, you should know that the Professional version is designed for use with Project Server 2010.  It includes all of the functionality needed for Project Server.  However, the Professional version also includes several powerful features that are pretty useful to desktop-only users.  The two features I really like in the Professional version are the new Team Planner view and the Inactivate Task feature that allows you to cancel unneeded tasks (instead of deleting them).  Hope this helps.
