  • Hi,

As your description, I recommend you can see

    NavigationCacheMode enumeration

The NavigationCacheMode enumeration has these members.

    Member

    Value

    Description

    Disabled

    0

The page is   never cached and a new instance of the page is created on each visit.

    Required

    1

The page is   cached and the cached instance is reused for every visit regardless of the   cache size for the frame.

    Enabled

    2

The page is   cached, but the cached instance is discarded when the size of the cache for   the frame is exceeded.

You can disable the page cache by set the NavigationCacheMode to disable.

And for windows phone development problem, you should post your thread in windows phone forum:

  • Hi,

Before you navigate to the other page. Windows store app can help you to close the page. You do not need to close the page by yourself. And what scenario do you want to achieve? If you want to hold the page content, please see Page.NavigationCacheMode property and set the value to Enabled .
