Column Reorder RRS feed

Using VS2008 and 3.5 and apparently I can not access the method that allows me to do [Display(Order=1)] am I missing something or is it as I suspect an enhancement that is not available to me in 3.5. If it is the latter any suggestions on how to reorder the columns in the way I want them to display.

I know ive seen [DisplayName("Text")] a lot and it wasnt working for me in .net 4.0 I found that the correct way had changed to [Display(Name="text")] you could try just DisplayOrder. Im not currently set up to check.

I was hoping there would be an option like that but so far I have been unable to find its predecessor

    [Display(Order=1)]
this is only available in .Net 4 and DD4 have a look at my article here Generate Columns/Rows (using IAutoFieldGenerator) which is a part of an old out of date security system.
