Add validations using javascript/jquery to datasheet view

Question

Is there any functionality by which we can add validations or enable disable field updates for particular set of SharePoint groups using jquery or JavaScript while updating data using datasheet view of list/libraries?

I don't believe you can Supar.  The data sheet view is a MS Access generated table, and there's very little you can do to interact with it.

The datasheet view is not HTML. It is an ActiveX control, and without source code you would not be able to change it. JavaScript could interact with HTML, but not the ActiveX control.
