still cant get .NET Framework 4 to work or windows update RRS feed

  • After searching for hours and finding no way to fix it.I am on an administrator account, I deleted everything in my %temp%, I downloaded the .net 4 standalone i disabled antivirus + firewall i right clicked the .net 4 and ran as admin got this error still

    .NET Framework 4 has not been installed because

    HRESULT 0xc8000247

    Please help i haven't had .net 4 in a long time and i cant run alot of programs i want to.

    If it makes a dif my hard drive went out on this cpu and i got a new one and windows installed on this and i havent been able to get .net since.

    Willing to do anything

    I am running windows 7 64x

    You can try using this tool to reset Windows Update components

    Your OS may not in a healthy state. Please ensure all updates have been installed and your OS is healthy. I would recommend you use “SFC /scannow” to repair your OS.
