Simulating multiple tracked users RRS feed

  • Question

  • So am aware of Kinect Studio and recorded .xef files.

The problem is I am a solo developer trying to develop an application that tracks multiple users, and I have no recorded streams of more than 1 person.

Is there some way of creating multiple person .xef files perhaps by combining single person recorded results?

or is there a source somewhere online of multiple person .xef files for testing?

  • I seriously doubt you can stitch things up together. Some stuff are determined on runtime by SDK, which you have no access to. Secondly, I also doubt you'd find recordings online. They can be very sizeable(from 1GB for very simple cases and short duration and can go up to 15GB for multiple ppl and several minutes recording, ofc depending on what streams you record, but in this case you probably need most of them) and there are also issues with people's faces being in there. The easiest thing you can do is gather friends or family and record them if it's a personal project. Otherwise if you have colleagues, have them recorded.
