Is this old WFP issue fixed? RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi all,

We are using WFP for redirecting IP addresses/ports in Win7. We have a problem that matches completely with the following thread (i.e. only affects TCP, does not occur with Vista):
    http://social.msdn.microsoft.com/Forums/en/wfp/thread/9df0b2fb-17b3-4303-b4c4-9f945118eec3

Since this is a very old issue, what I'm wondering is if this has been fixed in an already available hotfix or will I have to contact support? The machines are not connected to the internet & are currently running Win7SP1 w/o any other hotfixes applied.

    Thanks in advance,

    /Kenan

  • As a side note, the reason why the workaround mentioned in the previous thread would not be satisfactory for us is the throughput limitation mentioned here:
    http://social.msdn.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/wfp/thread/78c0b998-a739-4f41-aa56-d776748195eb/

Where the maximum throughput with IP/port redirection is claimed to be ~100kb/s.
