  • How do I generate the DASL filter for a string ? Like I do from the View > Arrange By > Custom.

    Where I edit the filter and copy the the DASL filter from SQL tab?


    What I want to do is search for a 'string' in the subject of mail in a specific folder

  • Hi ,

    You have to wirte the filter yourself, please refer to this link for the syntax.

    and we could also use DASL in Items.Restract method To use DASL syntax in Items.Restrict method by prefix the DASL search string with @SQL=.
