Adding a Custom Reg Key RRS feed

  • Hello All.

    I am currently testing out the WES7 toolkit and would like to ask how you would add a custom reg key?

    I am using ICE and creating my Answer File, but cannot work out how to add the key.

    Can you help

  • Ok, I have resolved.

    Under the following:

    >Windows Embedded Edition>OEMInformation

    Adding my details in here has accomplished what I used to use .reg file for.

  • First,you should add regedit.exe to your image.Then use Synchronous Command,enter the text like this %windir%\reg.exe /S "<regentryfilename>".

    Where abouts would RegEdit go? Can I use $OEM$ folders for this?

    Would the Syc Command go into the Answer File?

  • Add the System Management Utilities package to add the regedit.exe file.Use $OEM$ folder as to add your registration file.
