Can't receive TS_RFX_SYNC message RRS feed

  • Question

  • Dear all,

    I only receive TS_CACHE_BITMAP_COMPRESSED_REV2 and

    the nsc codec guid 0xCA8D1BB9000F154F589FAE2D1A87E2D6

wrapped with Demand Active PDU from server.

Are there any plans for enable remotefx codec on my linux rdp client?

I'v tried sending the TS_RFX_CAPS message, and my server is win

    7 sp1 on win server 2008 hyper-v.

  • Hi Duesurface:

Can you please send the network trace from the beginning (X224: connection confirm) exhibiting the behavior in question?

If the network trace is encrypted, you can please send me the application logs showing what was sent and what was received.

    Please email the traces:

  • Forum Update:

The resolution for this issue is that when the client sends CONNECTION_TYPE_LAN in TS_UD_CS_CORE then the server sends CODEC_GUID_REMOTEFX in Demand Active PDU.
