Twitter Control RRS feed

    I am attempting to use the latest version AjaxControlToolkit Twitter control to consume the same feed as shown in the live gallery http://www.asp.net/ajaxLibrary/AjaxControlToolkitSampleSite/Twitter/Twitter.aspx.  Even after registering with Twitter and adding my custom keys in to the appsettings section of web.config, I am still only getting the default "There are no matching tweets."

    Is there something that I am missing?

    Could you post the code that you are currently using (markup and relavent settings, obviously obscure your keys)?

    I would also recommend using the Developer Tools (F12) within your browser to see if any errors are present within the Console, which you inform you of any issues that could be occurring relating to the Twitter Control or Ajax Control Toolkit.

    I'm just testing as shown on the example, even trying to hit the same user...

        <add key="TwitterConsumerKey" value="****"/>
        <add key="TwitterConsumerSecret" value="****"/>
        <add key="TwitterAccessToken" value="****"/>
        <add key="TwitterAccessTokenSecret" value="****"/>

    <!DOCTYPE html PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD XHTML 1.0 Transitional//EN" "http://www.w3.org/TR/xhtml1/DTD/xhtml1-transitional.dtd">
    <%@ Register Assembly="AjaxControlToolkit" Namespace="AjaxControlToolkit" TagPrefix="asp" %>
    <html xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml">
    <head runat="server">
        <form id="form1" runat="server">
        <asp:ScriptManager ID="ScriptManager1" runat="server">
        <asp:Twitter ID="Twitter1"
                runat="server" />

    I was at first worred that it could be an typo in the twitter keys, so I copied and pasted them again.

    Did you try using the Developer Tools (F12) within your browser? I would highly recommend checking that out first to see if any errors are present within the Console section, such as difficulty loading any files that the Twitter control might depend on.

    The correct names of the keys are act:TwitterConsumerKey, act:TwitterConsumerSecret, act:TwitterAccessToken, act:TwitterAccessTokenSecret.  Make sure that you include the act: prefix in the web.config.

    I've added in the prefix as described in your post and on http://stephenwalther.com/archive/2013/09/30/ajax-control-toolkit-now-supports-jquery, but I'm still getting the same results of "There are no matching tweets." . Modified config data...

        <add key="act:TwitterConsumerKey" value="*****"/>
        <add key="act:TwitterConsumerSecret" value="*****"/>
        <add key="act:TwitterAccessToken" value="*****"/>
        <add key="act:TwitterAccessTokenSecret" value="*****"/>
