starting command prompt on EC7 platform hangs system RRS feed

  • Question

  • Starting the command prompt on an EC7 based platform hangs the entire system. The command prompt window is displayed but then the system freezes and can nonly be recovered via reboot. This is consistently happening every time I fire up the command prompt.

I have a debug build but no obvious messages relevent to the problem are sent to the output. I have placed a snippet of debug output below.

Has anyone an idea of what could be causing this or how I go about finding the cause of the problem? I've searched the various forums but can't find anything on this.

    Thanks,

    Bruno

  • Hi Bruno,

Whether "SYSGEN_CMD" and "SYSGEN_CONSOLE" is enabled in your catalog items?

    With regards,

    Keshava
