how to fatch gujarati data from database using like cause RRS feed

    Hi,

    Can any body suggest me how to fatch gujarati data from database using like cause.

    i wrote query like this:

    Select RId,ItemName from TblRowMaterialItemMaster where  ItemName like '@%ડાલડા%' 

    but it could not find any result.

    Please suggest me query.

    write query like this:

    Select * from TblRowMaterialItemMaster where IsActive=true and ItemName like '*પનીર*'

    Hello juhi_it,

    Which Database you are using and under which data type you are storing data it is unicode or nvarchar.

    Generally it SQL treates data as string and we need to identify it as a Unicode i guess from that we can achieve your task.

    I m working on Windows application so i m using MS Access2007  because it not suitable to use SQL server for win application.

    and datatype of field is "TEXT".

    Oh,

    You are using MS Access ok.

    So need to check that which datatype is suitable for that.
