Cannot save pdf or jpeg files directly to sharepoint

Hi,

 

We currently have a problem of saving pdf and jpeg files. When we open a pdf file and try saving it to the sharepoint document library the document library for sharepoint is not listed. Is there anyway to solve this problem as when we save files such as word and excel files we are able to see the document library when saving a file - but not for pdf or jpeg files.

Word and Excel are Office files which is why they work. PDF / JPG files use non-Office applications which is why they don't work as well.

Ideas: create a document library as a virtual drive and save to the virtual drive; create My Network Places entry for the SharePoint doc lib,

We currently already have a document library as a virtual drive but it still is the same. What we want to do is allow users  select save as on a document and save the pdf and jpg in the actual directory that is displayed by sharepoint but this does not show up when we try to save jpg or pdf files (only shows the document library when "saving as" for word/excel files only. We have recently upgrades our pc's do you think we need some sort of plug-in to enable to save jpg and pdf files as it was working on our old pc's before we upgraded them.

 Try Using Adobe 9.0 and check on it
