Ignoring the ServiceCertificate if its not existing? RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi,

I have a service with a behavior that demands a special certificate, this service got multiple endpoints(only one with certificate usages).

In some installations the certificate will not be used at all but becouse of the fact that its stated in the behavior demands the certificate to be installed in order to get the service running?

Is there any way to ignore this certificate if its not existing? I need to start the service and offer the other endpoints even if the certificate is missing.

  • Hi,

It seems that it is a similar issue you posted in this thread.

You just need to install the certificate once at the machine or server in which the service located, you can allow anonymous clients by setting clientCredentialType.

And you can create multiple service for different usages.

    Best Regards.
