Azure SQL Database Timing Out

Question
-
For about 20-30 minutes this morning I was getting timeout errors from Azure SQL Database. It seems to be resolved now, but does anyone know how to contact Microsoft if the issue happens again to try to get a resolution?
Here was the error I was getting:
A connection attempt failed because the connected party did not properly respond after a period of time, or established connection failed because connected host has failed to respond

Hi Kalon,
As pre my understand, Microsoft Windows Azure doesn't support a channel like Greenway which we can feedback about a platform issue currently.
Personally,I recommend you that submit a feedback at the Windows Azure Feedback Forums.

Hi Kalon,
You can contact Microsoft support by going to windowsazure.com and clicking on support. Quite often they will also monitor this forum in case you have a specific question.

The problem is they only offer "support" for Billing issues, otherwise you have to pay. I don't really consider it support if I just want to report that their service is down or having problems. Is there a separate place to report a platform issue?Tuesday, October 15, 2013 6:57 PM
