    i have two instances in target how can i load data into 1st instance in ssis ?

    what are  the steps i can fallow?

  • Do you mean you have 2 instances of database and you want to load the data to one instance?

    If you are in BIDS and then change the connection manager and point it to the desired instance. If package is already deployed on server then you need to modify the connection manger property in the configuration file/table.

  • Actually when you make ole db connection in SSIS, you specify the servername=Server\\instancename. This way it should deal with that specific instance.

  • Use Data Flow Task.  Then Double Click

    Add DataFlow Source & DataFlow Destination. Set the parameters Accordingly.
