Creating .svclog from custom logs RRS feed

  • For our end-to-end debugging we want to view our Client & Service logs in the Service Trace Viewer. Our logs are in a non-WCF format. Is there a way to convert our custom logs to .svclog?

  • Hi Gkurana,

    According to this case, the service trace viewer  just support three type of log files:

    1.WCF Tracing File (.svcLog)

    2.Event Tracing File (.etl)

    3.Crimson Tracing File

    As far as I know, converting them to the .svclog format, in fact it loses probably the most critical

    piece of information which is the message itself.

    But for custom logs, we not sure the log file format, so I thought there are no better way

    to convert it to .svclog file format.
