How to deal with Error BC35000 CompilerServices.Conversions.ChangeType not defined ? RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hello!

For access to a software with its COM-Interface
I want to write a little Console App.

    I get the Error BC35000
Requested operation is not available because the runtime library function 'Microsoft.VisualBasic.CompilerServices.Conversions.ChangeType' is not defined.

Does somewhere has a tip for me?

  •    Your project seems to be referencing a method from the old Visual Basic Runtime that it can not find.  Have a look at the following msdn document which explains the exception a little more,  and how you might fix it.

Requested operation is not available because the runtime library function '<function>' is not defined.

PS - You may also want to read through this msdn link too.

If you say it can`t be done then i`ll try it
